EAT ADK’s ACADEMIC ROOTS

LEARN ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF EAT ADK RESTAURANT WEEK

Restaurant week is the brainchild of Professor Joe Conto, the Director of the Hotel, Resort, and Tourism Management Program at Paul Smith’s College.  During the spring of 2015, ten students from Paul Smith’s College Field Studies in Hospitality class led by Professor Kelly Cerialo worked with Professor Conto, and the EAT ADK Volunteer Committee.

Each aspect of the EAT ADK Restaurant Week model was designed in order to allow for future growth. The title, “EAT ADK” was purposely selected by the students with the hope that restaurant week will eventually expand to neighboring towns in the Northern Adirondacks.
